I’ve waited pretty much my whole life to have a predominantly white wardrobe. This just might be my year. White has an equal balance of all the colors of the spectrum, and contains both the positive and negative aspects of all colors. White represents equality, implying fairness and impartiality, neutrality and feminine independence. While I’ve been loving white for my YouTube videos lately, I was looking to get sporty with it. I’ve really been loving different forms of exercise lately that are a little outside of my normal yoga + running routine. Tiger Mist + Synergy Organic Clothing provided the perfect combination of comfortable and eye catching. While this is not a great outfit to “get dirty” in (color wise, any way) it’s perfect for many outdoor spots like tennis, jogging or basketball, while staying demure, stylish and oh yeah – it’s good for the planet!

It’s been roughly three and a half years since I fully committed to my wellness journey, and truthfully, the very last thing to convert was my closet. Why?
Well, partially because I’m sentimental.
Partially because I love thrifting (another amazing way to save and recycle clothing).
And partially because organic, fair trade clothes tend to be more expensive. I had a hard time justifying it.
Synergy was one of the first affordable clothing companies I ever found, and I am so happy to bring you a discount code just for readers of The Organic Life!

Why organic material?
- Cotton accounts for nearly 25% of the insecticides and 10% of the pesticides used throughout the world, although is it grown on only 3% of the total cultivated area. The poisoning due to chemical insecticides and pesticides is so acute that thousands of poor farmers in developing countries end up losing their lives. Growing cotton organically means no pesticides or insecticides were used.
- Much like producing conventional coffee crops, conventional cotton production often leads to poisoning, causing various health problems for cotton farmers. Organic cotton production, on the other hand, ensures a healthy life for the farmers and their families.
- Organic cotton is softer, more durable and causes fewer allergies than conventional cotton
